Midsummer’s Big Night, Bruntingthorpe – July 2010
July 19th 2010, this was truly a night to remember. Over 1000 guests attended and were greeted on their arrival by the summer-sound of the Contrast Steel Band and local sporting personality, Matt Poole. Comedy duo, “Fingers and Fumbs” then proceeded to get the evening off to a cracking start with their own particular brand of mad humour and song. Our local Regiment’s marching band heralded the arrival of the luxury hampers which were presented to each table with a flourish by a member of the British Army. Robbie’s Rugby Festival 2009
Amount Raised: £800.00 This event was organised by Georgie Fowle and friends Emma Haggart and Ashleigh Kate Burns. It was held at Loughborough Rugby Club on July 19th 2009 and the teams were made up of past and present Loughborough Grammar School boys who were supported by Leicester Tigers.
