British & Irish Lions Captain is supporting Robbie’s Rugby Festival

Robbie’s Rugby Festival 2017

Robbie’s Rugby Festival is an exciting charity event that raises life changing funds for The Robbie Anderson Cancer Trust and The Jake McCarthy Foundation. Now in its ninth year, the event has become a permanent fixture in the calendar for so many. Curated by a group of old school friends back in 2009 as an old boys reunion match, RRF is now the largest 10s rugby tournament in the Midlands attracting 30 teams and on average two thousand spectators. New Scanning Equipment for Ward 27

Robbie Anderson Cancer Trust recently provided funding for further imaging capability at Leicester Royal Infirmary. Ward 27 received a £6,000 bladder scanner, and a £10,000 cannula scanner as a result of the generous donations to Robbie’s Charity. We’d like to thank everyone who has contributed to help provide this much needed equipment.

Francesca Mattioli’s Ironman Triathlon

Francesca Mattioli Completes the World’s Hardest Ironman Triathlon A HUGE well done to Francesca for completing the worlds hardest and most gruelling Ironman competitions, the famous X triathlon. A 2.5 mile swim in the Wasdale lake, a 118 mile Fred Whitton bike ride followed by a marathon up Scafell Pike. It is truly an unbelievable achievement to complete such a momentous competition and all in the name of Robbie. Please take your time to look at her JustGiving page here.
